I’m reading a book titled Blood Red Road by author Moira Young and I’m just not sure about this. I’m loving the plot so far, don’t get me wrong. I think it’s the voice of the main character. It’s very old southern. And by “old southern” I mean hillbilly-like. I’m not sure if I can read this book quickly. My brain fixes the sentences as I keep reading it then I have to go back and reread what I just read in a “southern” mind-voice (the voice with which I read books with…haha!).
Any-who, if someone is happening to read this blog entry, let me ask you this: Do or did you feel this way when reading this book (if, in fact, have read this book)?
